Family guy is very funny. I'd almost call it the animated counterpart to Arrested Development. They have the same style of using flashbacks, cutting to tv shows, and mixing dirty and sophisticated humor. Of course Arrested Development doesn't have Stewey and isn't about otherwise normal people. Unfortunately I can't convince my father that family guy is funny because his current idea of a good show is one that he can listen to while playing on his computer. And family guy is too visual to be enjoyed while looking at something else.

My mom got me a vegetarian cookbook with a really orgasmic looking recipe for this mexican chocolate cake and an Olivia calender at Ollie's today. I am very excited.

Miss Emily has been to the vet, and is scheduled for surgery on Monday. Apparently of the tre-gross cysts is the same one he cleaned out two years ago. So the plan is to just cut it out. Blech. Since this is the same vet who put Loise to sleep I'm a little bit nervous about letting them put her under. (I know this is an unreasonable phobia. But then phobias are supposed to be unreasonable.)
